The Connelly Family: October 2012

Hope everyone is enjoying fall! Sad to think of but we will soon be approaching the cold weather.

We went to visit PJ's family in Wisconsin earlier this month. While we were there we met Mike, Katie's (PJ's sister) boyfriend. Such a great guy! We also had a chance to see his parents new home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. What a gorgeous home and great view of the lake! Football games on TV, a boat ride and a mini baby shower kept us all pretty entertained. We had a great time!

This month we have also been really busy with work. Work seems to never end. We can't wait to retire in about 30 years, haha! PJ's dad will most likely retire next year after Mary Kate is born. On the other hand, my dad is already super bored from retirement and decided to get a part-time job at Walmart to keep him busy. He is building bikes for the little ones! He wants to feel like Santa on Christmas, haha! They told him that he was a bit overqualified. LOL.

Linda, (my mother in law) will be coming to visit mid November for my baby shower. I can't wait! I think it will be a fun time. It will be great seeing all of my friends & family that are able to make the shower. I'm hoping I don't get too many more clothes, as the closet is almost full! Although, if it is smocked - I WANT IT! Haha. I seem to have an obsession with smocked baby clothes. I am going to start shopping for the essentials on my registry soon. I want to learn how to smock. I have been sewing a lot lately and have also been embellishing baby clothes for Mary Kate. PJ has been busy keeping me sane and helping with the cleaning etc.

Today I am 23 weeks and 1 day! Just a few more months and we'll have a baby! Can't wait! This is truly a blessing for all of us to share. Enjoy a few pics below!
